One of my favorite Scandic in Stockholm. Newly built. Fresh room. Fantastic location (perfect if you are traveling with public transport! Its right next to Arlanda express and central station.) trendy rooftop bar (very crowded during aw) great breakfast (very crowded during the weekend)
Avoid the windowless rooms! Rooms with windows are worth it. Right on top of their equivalent of Grand Central and surrounded by restaurants & shops. Short walk to Old Town, the Royal Palace & grounds, and can easily get to wherever else you need to go. Includes breakfast buffet which is more traditional Swedish and will easily fill you up for a day of sightseeing.
The Hotel placed me into an interior room that has no windows and was just barely large enough to walk around the bed. The air was extremely stale as they do not have an air conditioner with a fan. I was told that if I wanted the room any colder, I would have to wait 3 to 4 hours for the air exchange to work. Staff at the front desk were very helpful. Do not plan to sleep in past 7 as the housekeeping make terrible noise and talk loud enough to here them doen the hall as they are cleaning rooms of people already checked out. The breakfast buffet is adequate. Nothing special and the same every day. Make sure you get there early as it is packed every morning. The view is great (if you have one). The lounge is comfortable and a great place to meet other people or just get out of you 3 by 3 room. Expensive hotel for what you get. But a great location in exchange. All depends on what you want out of your stay.
Really nice place at the heart of the city next to anything you can expect. The location is prime, the hotel itself is trendy and chick, but why breakfast ends so early? (0930!!)
When you book your room make sure it has windows...)) we didn't...so it was a nightmare. No window, no fresh air, the AC doesn't seem to work at all. Though we talked to manager twice. They are very friendly, but didn't do nothing about our request to upgrade the room(
