Best place to shop in Stockholm hands down. All high end brands and good brands are here. Clean bathroom (10SEK). And good cafes. For good shopping in Stockholm you must come to NK. Also very quiet and calm.

Perhaps they should have a notification sound for the elevators, have dedicated information staff others than hidden away at the B1 floor and make the whole place more baby stroller friendly.

Expensive store but they have a great selection of brands and things. Spread over several floors, NK is one of the oldest luxury departments stores in Sweden - in the same class as Selfridges on London's Oxford Street or Galleries Lafayettes on Paris' Boulevard Hausmann. And I know some say it's Sweden's Harrods but, no; Harrods is in a class of their own and Sweden has no comparison. Having said that, NK is certainly a store of great variety and quality and all the big brands and upcoming Swedish brands are found here. Household and kitchen accessories department is without comparison in Stockholm and even Sweden. If you're touristing in Stockholm, it's well worth a visit and if you live here, well, then you already know if this is your kind of department store or not. I give it 5 stars based on quality, selection and service. Prices are subjective and shouldn't factor into the rating (unless that's part of a budget business model and USP, which is not the case here) but take note that this place is generally expensive.

Beautiful building. I can sincerely recommend the bar downstairs that has an amazing selection of beer to really good prices. The bar has a bit of a "food court"-vibe and closes early, but prices and selection makes this a true hidden gem. The grocery store downstairs sells low alcoholic beer (super nice selection here too) and prepared food.

This is a massive department store in the main shopping district of Stockholm. I went there shopping for trousers, but was overcome with the sheer size and range of the place. Its a huge multi floor setup, with men's wear on a specific floor. Its super well lit, and well heated. I found it a nice place, but I was soon too hot and uncomfortable to really be in the mood for shopping.I'm sure its a great place for menswear shopping, but I found it too high end and too expensive to be a good experience.
