Very good traditional Swedish food. It is relatively accessible (price wise) and beeing located in a area with lots of bars it's a good starting point for a night out. Recommend the traditional dishes (reindeer, herring, meatballs, Pytt I panna).
Good food. We had wallenbergare and fried herring an both were quite delicious. Nice beer selection. Very friendly staff.
I went here as part of a work team visiting Stockholm, so we thought we'd take a gamble on a local place, advertised as a quality, traditional Swedish. Its a really traditional feeling, heavily wooden dining room, with a really interesting range of meaty dishes. There's a good mix of sea food and meat, and a great range of beers and other alcohol. A seriously wide range of European beers and lagers.Price was good, what I'd expect to pay in Stockholm, atmosphere was really friendly, and the staff were welcoming and chatty. Go there, its really good.
Better than I remember. The meatballs and the cod was really good. The dumplings (kroppkakor) were very dry and had very little filling.
I fail to understand how this place was so empty when we went (maybe it's because it's absolutely massive so it seemed there were few of us): their food is so good they'd have me there every week if I lived anywhere near.It's not only the food though: the service is so friendly and caring it makes you feel absolutely at home. The whole place has a very unique and quirky vintage vibe. Proper old school jazz bar, with lots of interesting art hanging from every wall.Couldn't recommend it more!
