Great food. But the place is an old beer-hall, which is a beautiful setting, but god is it noisy. I find it absolutely unbearable to dine there, and Im usually not bothered by noise. My dad says the same. If not for that I would rate it 5/5.
Really cool, old school beer hall. A bit formal for me. Way too much food - order less than you would normally. An app and main is enough for two - couldn't finish meatballs and pork knuckle, and I'm a big eater. Not cheap either.
We had meatballs and arctic char, both excellent. The atmosphere was really nice and the waitress was correct. However, the maitre was rather rude and denied us to sit in a free table assigning us to a different one (both free and with the same number of seats). We may go back and hope he'll have a better day.
The food was good and service was friendly even though the personnel seemed a bit stretched... As stated in many other reviews, the environment is a bit noisy; however, we found this not distracting, but rather adding to the atmosphere of an old traditional inn. So while there was nothing wrong, we still found there was nothing specifically convincing either. In fact, it felt a bit like they are living from their reputation and it is mostly for tourists. Even by Stockholm-level the price-quality ratio seemed average at best.
We booked for 15 people but when we arrived there were almost 25 of us (some colleagues joined lost minute). This was no issue for the restaurant and waiters. They were very friendly and helpful and made sure everyone had a great time.10/10 Would Recommend!
