GREAT breakfast! One of the best I ever had. The location is great but not ideal for travelers with a car. The interior is quite outdated and smells old in the hallway(we stayed at the second floor). Great view from the room!
This hotel is nicely located near to the Slussen metro station which allows easy travel throughout the city. There's a huge reconstruction pit next to the hotel but we didn't have any noise from it. Uber taxi driver didn't know how to get to the hotel because of the reconstruction and just dropped us along the road after circling for half an hour and we had to walk the last piece. The breakfast here is amazing. Love their freshly baked eggs and ability to make your own smoothie. Was missing some nice salmon. View from the breakfast room over the water was really nice. Rooms are certainly decent but a bit outdated decor. Staff was friendly but clumsy. Emailed the hotel 2 months ahead of time for a special request. Received a mail back that it was arranged. Arrived at the hotel and I got to hear there was no special request being noted and as the hotel was full they couldn't change it anymore. Showed the receptionist the email and he said he had never heard of the lady that wrote the email. Two days later my colleague made a special request at the reception and when I asked about it the next morning they didn't know about the special request anymore. Super clumsy. Later on the day I tried calling the hotel as I wanted them to check on my colleague in his room but it was a nightmare getting a hold of someone. Kept getting connected to some reservations desk in Romania or something. Really irritating. Shame of otherwise a good hotel.
If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIRven. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!Tidy and modern rooms. Very good breakfast buffet. There was a chef making omelets on demand at breakfast and you had to wait a while if there was a lot of people eating at the same time. Quality food overall and it was worth the wait.
Old hotel that needs an upgrade! However, the staff is great. The breakfast is perfect. Like I said the only thing I would change is the carpet and room interior, however the room was very clean. Location is good too.
