Elegant and nice looking hotel. Nice building, but old lift. The staff offers to carry your luggage to your room, so not a big deal. Standard rooms are not very big, but bed is comfortable and rooms are really clean.Hot water in the shower sometimes works funny, from scalding to icy in milliseconds.
Awful customer service. Be careful of unauthorized charges. Have since spent hours on the phone with finance and have ultimately been told 'we cannot issue refunds' what a joke.
Seems like a place that's coasting on the last remnants of it's brand recognition. It remains a neat design, with some fancier perks, but the service was subpar most of our stay, and awful at times.Good luck getting coffee with your breakfast. One morning we gave up and got coffee at the self-serve machine upstairs, and the next morning my wife had to basically yell at the wait staff repeatedly to get noticed. Given how expensive breakfast is when not included in the room (came as a surprise, and the staff didn't seem clear on it either), go to a cafe instead.Also had a weird run-in with housekeeping, who wanted into our room after it had already been serviced for the day.Neat place, but needs to value service level more if it's going to continue to market itself as an upscale location. Also, that spa isn't anything to write home about.
Really a one of a kind hotel in Stockholm. Great service, perfectly located and really good food. Also close to the nice Djurgrden for walks or runs.
